Finca Cortezada 2010 presents a brilliant straw yellow color with golden highlights, hinting at the ripeness and character of this exceptional vintage. On the nose, an elegant bouquet of ripe yellow fruits such as pear and peach unfolds, accompanied by floral nuances such as linden blossom. Mineral hints of flint and a subtle hint of honey, along with a touch of dried herbs, add further complexity.
On the palate, the 2010 vintage presents an excellent balance of freshness and ripeness. The lively acidity of the Treixadura brings structure and vibrancy, while the Godello imbues the wine with richness and depth. The Albariño grape adds a subtle salinity and citrus freshness, which characterize the long, elegant finish. The mineral notes of the slate terroir underscore the refinement and depth of this wine.
An outstanding vintage that perfectly showcases the complexity and potential of white wines from the Ribeira Sacra. Finca Cortezada 2010 is an ideal accompaniment to grilled fish, seafood, and aged cheeses, and displays impressive elegance and character even after years of ageing.
