Finca Cortezada 2016 displays a clear, straw-yellow hue in the glass with a soft golden shimmer, underscoring the ripeness of the vintage. On the nose, a complex aroma of ripe stone fruits such as peach and mirabelle plum unfolds, accompanied by a subtle tropical note of pineapple and delicate floral accents. Mineral nuances of wet stone and a hint of honey add additional depth to the bouquet.
On the palate, the 2016 vintage presents an excellent balance of freshness and structure. The lively acidity of the Treixadura harmonizes with the richness and elegance of the Godello, while the Albariño grape, with its subtle salinity and delicate fruitiness, provides a refined, lingering finish. The mineral influence of the soils is clearly noticeable, lending the wine remarkable complexity.
An expressive and mature white wine that pairs perfectly with grilled fish, shellfish, or creamy cheeses. Finca Cortezada 2016 impressively reflects the unique terroir of Ribeira Sacra and demonstrates impressive aging potential.
