Finca Cortezada 2009 shines in a golden yellow hue with subtle, ripe highlights, reflecting the development of this mature vintage. On the nose, a complex and multi-layered aroma of ripe yellow fruits such as apricots and quince unfolds, complemented by floral notes of acacia blossoms. Mineral hints of wet stone and a touch of honey and almonds underscore the depth and refinement.
On the palate, the 2009 vintage impresses with a remarkable balance of freshness and smooth ripeness. The lively acidity of the Treixadura provides structure and elegance, while the Godello lends a smooth richness and depth. The Albariño grape complements the profile with a subtle salinity and delicate fruitiness, which characterize the long and harmonious finish. The mineral influences of the slate soil are clearly perceptible and lend the wine exceptional complexity.
A mature and exceptional white wine that pairs perfectly with grilled fish, lobster, or mature hard cheese. Finca Cortezada 2009 impressively demonstrates how white wines from the Ribeira Sacra gain in elegance and character over time and continue to excel at the highest level.
