Tasting note: in the glass, the 2017 Escalada displays a mature golden yellow with a delicate sheen. The nose unfolds with complex aromas of dried citrus fruits, fennel, orange blossoms, and subtle notes of pastry and ripe yeast. Light oxidative overtones add additional depth to the bouquet. On the palate, the wine is dense and harmonious with well-integrated acidity, a mature structure, and a persistent, spicy-mineral finish.
A mature Godello with character, finesse, and depth—an exciting expression of the vintage and the winemaker's uncompromising style.
