Alpendre 2023, named after the traditional Galician stone houses and shelters that preserve tools and tradition, embodies the authenticity of the Ribeira Sacra region.
In the glass, the wine displays a delicate ruby red glow, characteristic of the native Merenzao grape variety. The nose reveals delicate aromas of red fruits such as sloe, accompanied by spicy notes, hints of rose, and a subtle mineral freshness that reflects the granite soils. On the palate, the wine presents itself elegantly and delicately, with a remarkable balance between finesse and structure. Floral nuances of violet and a hint of pink pepper lend depth. The texture is smooth, and the finish is long, characterized by fresh minerality and subtle spice.
Alpendre 2023 is a refined expression of the Merenzao grape and the unique terroir of the Ribeiras do Sil region. Ideally enjoyed at 12–14°C, this wine pairs perfectly with light dishes such as poultry, mushroom risotto, or aged cheese. A delicate wine that masterfully combines the tradition and refinement of the Ribeira Sacra.
