Tasting note:
Raíz de Guzmán is a clear, intense garnet red with high density – deep and bright in the glass.
The nose presents a powerful bouquet of ripe red fruit such as black plum and heart cherry, underpinned by notes of Mediterranean undergrowth, balsamic hints and fine aromas of spices, cocoa and tobacco leaves from the barrique.
On the palate, the wine is structured, creamy, and very balanced. The texture is velvety, the flavor intense, round, and full-bodied. Lively, well-integrated tannins and a nearly endless finish characterize the profile.
An elegant, powerful Tempranillo with great depth and balance—ideal with hearty meat dishes, game, or aged cheeses. Raíz de Guzmán is an authentic expression of the Ribera del Duero and its distinctive terroir.
