Production: Limited edition from naturally cultivated Callet plots around Felanitx; hand-picked and selective processing
Origin: Vi de la Terra Mallorca, Rosaberto Winery; organically farmed vineyards near the coast
Vineyard: Calcareous and clayey soils with good drainage, Mediterranean microclimate with sea breeze
Soil: Stony, mineral-rich soil
Climate: Mediterranean island climate with hot days, cool nights and maritime influences
Vinification: Gentle whole-bunch pressing, spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness and fruit integrity
Maturation: Storage on the fine lees for soft texture and aromatic depth, no wooden barrel maturation
Alcohol content: Approx. 11.5% vol
Tasting note: Light copper with orange reflections; aromas of melon, rhubarb, juniper and a hint of honey; mineral, juicy and elegant on the palate with a fine finish
Food recommendation: As an aperitif on a warm summer evening, with tapas, antipasti or lobster salad. Also good on its own

The winery
Since 2018 Robert and Conny have run one of Mallorca's smallest wineries, among dry-stone walls near Felanitx. Only island varieties grow here, such as Callet, Manto Negro and Prensal Blanc.

Conny Koeninger and Robert Schumacher, since 2018. Their winery is near Felanitx in the south-east of Mallorca and is one of the smallest on the island. They put their idea into practice with oenologist Henri Fink and the Weinwert team, by hand from planting to bottling.
