Across the whole D.O. Ribeira Sacra only about 5,800 kg of Dona Branca are harvested each year, and Ronsel do Sil bottles it on its own. The vines are over 85 years old and grow on slate with a 60% slope. Pale straw, with grapefruit, apricot, blossom and a touch of salt on the nose. Creamy and balsamic on the palate; of the three Ourive wines it has the longest time on the lees, eight months.

María José Yravedra is one of Spain's first women winemakers. With her husband Felipe she brought the old bodega on the Sil back to life in 2010, and since then the wine there has moved by gravity alone.

Ronsel is the wake a boat leaves behind. The bodega sits right at the bottom of the steep slopes of the Sil, near Sacardebois, looking across to the vineyards of Amandi. The vines belong to the D.O. Ribeira Sacra.
