Garnacha made as a rosé cava, over 20 months on the lees. Medium ruby with a fine mousse; strawberry, cherry and red liquorice on the nose, with something creamy behind. Very fresh on the palate, with a light sweetness, a silky texture and a long fruity finish.
As an aperitif, with light starters, seafood or mild cheese. When salmon or tuna is on the table, we would pick it over a white cava.

Vicente García is known as “the father of Cava in Requena”. He founded the estate with his wife Ana Suria in 2002, and today their daughter Rebeca works there too.

Vicente García. He founded Pago de Tharsys in Requena in 2002 with his wife Ana Suria, in the D.O. Utiel-Requena in the province of Valencia, and today their daughter Rebeca works with them. The estate started out with 20,000 bottles a year. The vines grow at 700 metres on limestone and clay.
