A red with more than 15 years behind it, made from Merlot with a little Cabernet Franc. Garnet, with red plum liqueur, cedar and forest floor on the nose, plus black pepper and clove. Fresh on the palate, with ripe tannins, sour cherry and spice on the finish.
Pour it at 16 to 18 °C into a wide glass so it gets air. It is best with game and with dishes of porcini or other wild mushrooms.
