Algueira Fincas 2011 presents itself in the glass with an intense garnet red color and violet reflections. The nose unfolds with complex aromas of red fruits such as cherries and raspberries, accompanied by balsamic notes reminiscent of menthol and fresh mint. There are also hints of orange blossom and subtle spicy nuances reminiscent of cedarwood and roasted nuts.
On the palate, the 2011 vintage impresses with remarkable freshness and vibrant acidity. The texture is silky, supported by fine, ripe tannins. Mineral notes, typical of the slate soils, permeate the long and succinct finish, leaving a delicate, citrus-like freshness.
An elegant and balanced vintage that captures the essence of Atlantic grape varieties. Perfect with game dishes, roasted meats, or aged cheeses. With great aging potential, this wine will continue to gain complexity in the coming years.
