The youngest aged Cortezada, ten years old. Straw with a golden sheen; peach and mirabelle, a touch of pineapple, blossom, wet stone and honey on the nose. The Treixadura brings acidity, the Godello body, the Albariño salt, and the finish lingers.
Serve at 9 to 12 °C with grilled fish, shellfish or a creamy cheese. It will keep for a few more years.

In 1979 Fernando planted his first plot on an overgrown piece of land belonging to his wife Ana's family. Today the vines grow on Roman-era terraces above the Sil, on slopes of up to 85%.

It began in 1979, when Fernando planted his first plot, “Carballo Cobo”, on an overgrown piece of land belonging to his wife Ana's family. Reviving viticulture in such a tough setting was a real risk. Today the family farms around 25 hectares in 86 plots along the Sil and beyond. Algueira is one of the pioneers that brought heroic viticulture back to the Ribeira Sacra.
