Production: Originally 13,000 numbered bottles; only a few bottles are left. We were exceptionally able to secure 18 bottles directly from the winemaker.
Origin: D.O. Penedès, Massís del Garraf, Catalonia
Vineyard: Organically farmed vineyards in the Massís del Garraf.
Soils: Calcareous clay soils with high active lime content, typical of the karst region of Massís del Garraf.
Climate: Mediterranean climate of the Massís del Garraf.
Vinification: Selection of the best grapes; 18-hour maceration with the skins; produced exclusively from mosto flor (free-run juice); light clarification and filtration.
Aging: 6 months bottle aging before release.
Alcohol content: 13.0% vol.
Food pairing: Ideal with salads, fish dishes, seafood, grilled meat, aged cheese, and Mediterranean dishes.
Serve at 10 to 12 °C.
The winery
Only around 50 of this finca's 455 hectares in the Garraf Massif are planted with vines. The rest is forest, scrub and rock. Jordi Esteve carries on what Carlos Esteva started in the 1970s.

Carlos Esteva began turning the estate into a winery in the 1970s and tried out many grape varieties along the way. After his death in 2023, Jordi Esteve, a long-time companion, took over the management. He keeps the same line: organic farming, hand picking, spontaneous fermentation and every plot vinified on its own.
