Our starting point is the wines from the northwest of Spain, particularly from the emerging wine regions of Galicia and Bierzo. We have a family connection to this region and have known many of the wineries and producers there for many years. These wines have already secured a firm place in the tapas bars of Madrid and Barcelona and are considered the latest trend in Spain’s wine scene. But not only in Spain – internationally too, they are increasingly gaining recognition among connoisseurs and enthusiasts. For us, it is exciting to give these wines a stage and to share the stories behind the bottles – stories of tradition, innovation, and a unique passion for sustainable winemaking. As a result, our selection is constantly growing.
We are continuously working on adding wines from other regions and countries to our assortment based on recommendations and encounters, making these hidden gems available to wine aficionados. This happens step by step, because we want to get to know the winemakers and their products personally and only include the very best wines in our selection.
Our focus is on creating easy access to wine, winemakers, and customers. We follow a community-driven approach and will gradually expand this digital platform in that direction, allowing us to incorporate and share community recommendations, while also enabling wine lovers to exchange ideas and tips with one another. Everyone has their own personal taste. Ultimately, the wine should please you above all. And we are very happy to help you choose your favorite wine.
My roots are in Belgium, but Switzerland is my home. From an early age, I discovered the fascinating world of wine through my parents – joint visits to French wineries shaped my passion. This love of wine has never left me and was further deepened during my studies at the Hotel Management School in Lucerne. There I was able to expand and solidify my knowledge while also nurturing my enthusiasm for hospitality and the art of enjoyment. For me, wine is not just a drink, but an art that tells stories – and I love sharing those stories with others.
As a child, we spent the long summer holidays in our second home in Galicia, where my mother is from. My grandfather was a farmer and winemaker in Ribeira Sacra and produced his wine in the steep vineyards. As a little boy, I was allowed to help with the harvest, pressing the grapes with my feet. And when my mother wasn’t looking, my grandfather would sometimes slip a drop of wine into my water. The love for the region and for wine has stayed with me to this day.
We want to introduce you to wines we've discovered ourselves on our travels and encounters. These wines often come from smaller wineries and are produced by "freaks." You'll sense our winemakers' dedication to their wines and their terroirs with every sip.
