Finca Cortezada 2014 presents a brilliant golden yellow color with light greenish reflections that emphasize its freshness. The bouquet is elegant and complex, with aromas of ripe yellow fruits such as quince and pear, accompanied by floral notes of white blossoms and a hint of citrus. Mineral hints of wet stone and a subtle hint of wax underscore the wine's depth.
On the palate, the 2014 vintage displays a harmonious balance between ripe fruit, lively acidity, and a subtle creaminess. The Treixadura brings freshness and structure, while the Godello enhances the wine's body and richness. The Albariño grape adds a saline minerality and a lively character that makes the finish fresh and lingering.
A white wine ideal with roasted fish, seafood, or goat cheese. Finca Cortezada 2014 is a magnificent example of the refinement and expressiveness of the Ribeira Sacra terroir and demonstrates its potential for further aging in bottle.
