Finca Cortezada 2013 presents a clear, straw-yellow color with subtle golden highlights, hinting at its maturity and elegance. On the nose, a complex bouquet of ripe apples, pears, and a hint of citrus fruits like grapefruit unfolds, complemented by floral notes and fine mineral hints. A subtle hint of honey and dried herbs adds additional depth.
On the palate, the 2013 vintage presents an impressive harmony of vibrant freshness and a soft texture. The acidity of the Treixadura provides energy and structure, while the Godello lends the wine richness and a smooth texture. The Albariño grape brings a saline minerality and a delicate, fruity lightness that underscores the long, elegant finish.
A multifaceted and balanced white wine, perfect with grilled fish, seafood, or mild cheeses. Finca Cortezada 2013 is a magnificent example of the versatility and potential of the white grape varieties from the Ribeira Sacra and remains an impressive pleasure even after years of ageing.
