Soils: Very shallow, calcareous loam soils on dolomite limestone from the Triassic and Cretaceous periods with a high proportion of active limestone – typical of the rugged karst formations of the region.
Orientation: Not specified
Climate: The 2020 vintage was characterized by moderate temperatures and a balanced water balance, resulting in optimally ripened grapes with intense fruit and a fine structure.
Vinification: Ten days of cold maceration without stems. Spontaneous fermentation of the grape varieties separately at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. Aging for 16 months in new, extra-fine-grain French barriques.
Maturation: 16 months in French oak
Alcohol content: 13.5% vol.
Tasting Note: Intense ruby red. Complex aromas of black cherry, cassis, black peppercorns, and Mediterranean herbs on the nose. Juicy and dense on the palate, with fine-grained tannins, ripe fruit notes, and subtle hints of cocoa. An ethereal, elegant wine with a long, mineral finish—a precise reflection of the Garraf terroir.
Food pairing: Ideal with lamb, grilled meat, game dishes, Mediterranean cuisine and spicy hard cheese.
