Climate: The 2022 vintage was characterized by a hot, dry summer with very little rainfall—unusual for the Atlantic-dominated Rías Baixas region. Thanks to deep soils and good vineyard management, the vines remained healthy. The grapes reached excellent ripeness with intense aromas and balanced acidity. A vintage with power, freshness, and great aging potential.
Vinification: Hand-picked in perforated crates, sorted on a sorting table. Completely destemmed, gently pressed in a pneumatic press. Cold settling, spontaneous fermentation in French oak barrels (225 l & 500 l). Tangential filtration, clarification with isinglass.
Maturation: 12 months on the fine lees with regular batonnage in French barriques
Alcohol content: Not specified
Tasting note: A vibrant, bright yellow with golden reflections. On the nose, the 2022 vintage displays ripe citrus fruits, floral notes, and subtle wood spice. On the palate, it's voluminous, with a silky texture, vibrant freshness, and an invigorating acidity. The finish is long, complex, and carried by mineral elegance.
Food recommendation: Ideal with grilled fish, seafood, risotto, creamy pasta dishes, white meat, or mature goat cheese. It's also perfect as a sophisticated accompaniment to fine dining.
