Algueira Patrimonio 2018 displays a deep garnet red with ruby reflections in the glass. The nose reveals aromas of ripe red fruits such as cherries and raspberries, complemented by balsamic notes of eucalyptus and a hint of orange peel. Spicy nuances of white pepper and vanilla add further complexity to the bouquet.
On the palate, the 2018 vintage displays a perfect balance between freshness, structure, and depth. The tannins are well-integrated and supple, while the acidity lends the wine vibrancy and elegance. The finish is long and succinct, with mineral notes that masterfully capture the slate terroir, as well as a subtle spiciness that enriches the aftertaste.
