Algueira Fincas 2009 presents a deep ruby red with garnet reflections, reflecting the ripeness of this vintage. On the nose, an opulent bouquet of dark fruits such as ripe plums and black cherries unfolds, accompanied by spicy notes such as cinnamon, cloves, and delicate vanilla. Subtle balsamic hints of eucalyptus, along with earthy tones and a hint of cocoa, add further complexity.

On the palate, the 2009 vintage is powerful and structured. The ripe, silky tannins harmonize perfectly with the well-integrated acidity, which lends the wine freshness and elegance. The mineral notes of the slate soil are clearly noticeable and contribute to a complex and long finish characterized by subtle roasted notes and a hint of orange peel.

An outstanding vintage that fully showcases the depth and complexity of the Caiño and Sousón grape varieties. Perfect with braised game, hearty meat dishes, or mature, spicy cheeses. This wine has remarkable aging potential and will continue to gain in expression and finesse in the coming years.
